Cancer Awareness 2016McCloud Services Encourages Team Members to Join the Fight in Finding a Cure for Cancer

McCloud Services, a leading pest management company servicing Illinois as well as Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, Ohio and Wisconsin, is encouraging all 195 associates, at all 11 locations, to join the fight in finding a cure for breast cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness month this October.

For the second consecutive year, McCloud Services encourages all service specialists to wear pink exam gloves on the job and all office team members to wear pink clothing every Friday in October to build awareness, offer support and foster hope for those fighting breast cancer. The company has purchased the Generation Pink Gloves through Medline Industries, which donates and supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

“Cancer has touched all of us in one way or another. For this reason we’ve partnered with Medline Industries for the second straight year to not only generate awareness for breast cancer, but all cancers. Through awareness, we hope to inspire others to join in the fight to find a cure for all cancers and help support crucial research,” said Chris McCloud, president and CEO of McCloud Services.

Employees of all 11 McCloud locations are encouraged to participate in local American Cancer Society’s October Making Strides Walks. The walks are designed to share passion and raise funds to help save more lives from breast cancer. In addition to the walk, any employee donations made to the American Cancer Society during the month of October will be matched by the company. In 2015, McCloud and employees donated $1,300 in total to the American Cancer Society. Throughout the month of October McCloud Services will use its newsletter to share employee’s stories about how important cancer awareness is to them, their families and the community.
