Our Food Safety Department offers food manager certification courses for restaurants, delis and retail food stores. Your employees will learn about foodborne illnesses and the food safety practices that will help protect your establishment.
ServSafe Food Safety Training
Our Food Safety Department offers The National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe Food Safety Training Course.
This course covers the following topics

- Principles of a HACCP system
- Sanitary facilities and equipment
- Cleaning and sanitizing

- Contamination, food allergies and foodborne illness
Food Manager Certification Training
Our Food Safety Department offers training courses that meet health department requirements, including the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago. Attendees may apply for Illinois and Chicago certification after completing the required 15 hours of food safety training and successfully completing the examination. A one-day training course is also offered that meets the five year recertification requirements for Illinois and Chicago. Customized training is available for groups of ten or more.
