CMccloudChris McCloud, President & CEO

Chris McCloud is president and chief executive officer of McCloud Services, a leading pest management company headquartered in South Elgin, Ill. that specializes in the food supply chain of custody, health care, hospitality, property management and retail industries.

Chris is the fourth generation of McCloud family leadership. His responsibilities include preserving the assets of the organization by minimizing risk and maintaining a financially strong operation that is efficient and effective. Chris also helps to shape overall strategy and direction and instills a financial and operations focused philosophy throughout the organization to help each part of the business successfully meet its goals.

Chris has worked in the pest management industry since 1983. Upon graduation from college in 1989, Chris began his full-time employment with McCloud Services. From 1989 to 1993, Chris worked in business development, quality assurance and operations. In 1993, Chris was promoted to area operations manager of McCloud’s largest service center in Schaumburg, Ill. He was promoted to northern regional manager in 1997, vice president operations in 2001 and company president in January 2007. Chris was elected chief executive officer in May 2011.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University. He completed the GAP International Executive Challenge Course in 2001 and the GAP International Executive Mastery from 2002 to 2007. He also completed leadership development, strategic planning and sales educational programs.

Chris currently serves on the board of directors of Copesan Services and the National Pest Management Association. He is also active in Pi Chi Omega, Loyola University Family Business Center, International Family Business Network, and, YPO Chicagoland Chapter.

SDicksonStephanie Dickson, Chief Operating Officer

Stephanie Dickson serves as chief operations officer for McCloud Services, a leading pest management company headquartered in South Elgin, Ill. that specializes in the food service, food supply chain of custody, health care, hospitality, property management and retail industries. Stephanie has worked in the pest management industry since 1990. Her background includes technical consulting sales, pest management consulting and implementing technological management tools in the agricultural industry. She joined McCloud Services in 1998.

Stephanie provides day-to-day leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. She spearheads the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes. Stephanie oversees all aspects of McCloud’s strategic account management, assigned personnel and processes.

In her former role as vice president of business development, Stephanie was responsible for planning and managing strategic initiatives. She provided leadership in specific aspects of business strategy for sales, marketing, field/route operations, e-commerce, and other areas. Her responsibilities included assembling and guiding account teams, aligning marketing and enterprise-wide strategies, creating sales development tools and managing sales initiatives.

Stephanie joined McCloud Services as a sales representative responsible for developing new business leads and facilitating relationships between service teams and clients to ensure superior performance and client satisfaction. She served as director of business development and was promoted to vice president in 2011. In 2017, Stephanie was promoted from vice president of business development to COO.

In 1994, Stephanie founded, managed and sold GeoAg-Tech, LLC, an agricultural consulting business, which led her to McCloud Services.

Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree in entomology from Texas A&M University. She is a graduate of the 1997-1998 Kellogg Foundation Leadership Program, a 2011 graduate of the GAP International Executive Challenge Course, and has completed the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Program in Strategic Sales Management.

She is currently a member of the Copesan Sales Committee, Phi Chi Omega – the National Pest Management Fraternity and serves on the Executive Peer Advisory Group of the Loyola Family Business Center.

Stephanie has been involved in local community organizations including Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Sangamon County in Springfield, Ill., where she served on the Board of Directors from 2001 – 2004.

RBurkeRick Burke, Chief Financial Officer

Rick Burke is the chief financial officer for McCloud Services, a leading commercial pest management company headquartered in South Elgin, Ill. that specializes in the food supply chain of custody, health care, hospitality, property management and retail industries. He joined McCloud in October 2013.

Rick is responsible for all Financial Management, Accounting, Customer Service and Information Technology aspects of the company, including risk management and insurance, multi-state tax administration, benefit plan administration, fleet management, purchasing and contract administration, accounts receivable, treasury, and banking.

Rick joins McCloud Services with over 28 years of financial management experience, spending the last 17 years at the senior executive level. Throughout his career, he has worked in a variety of industries including energy, publishing, financial services, insurance, commercial lending, healthcare, entertainment and capital markets.

Prior to joining McCloud Services, Rick served as the chief financial officer for an energy services company. He focused on recapitalization and growth by expanding lines of service, increasing the company’s footprint and quadrupling the company’s revenue. Previously, Rick was the founder and managing member for a full service accounting firm providing tax, accounting and consulting services to middle market businesses. He held the position of vice president of finance for Monroe Capital, a middle market commercial lender which had over $1 billion of assets under management. In this position, he was responsible for financial management, back-office operations and also was involved in underwriting deals, structuring debt and equity financing, overseeing mergers and acquisitions and turnaround management for portfolio companies. Prior to working for Monroe Capital, he served as director of finance for Condell Medical Center in the Northern Chicago suburbs.

Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich., and a Master’s of Business Administration in finance from Webster University in St. Louis, Mo.

Rick is a certified public accountant (CPA), a chartered global managerial accountant (CGMA), as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Illinois CPA Society and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).

Rick is involved in local community youth athletics, serving as a coach for football (Bartlett Raiders), baseball (Bartlett Little League) and basketball (Bartlett Community Center).

Jennifer Shook, Vice President, Human Resources

Jennifer Shook is vice president of human resources for McCloud Services, a leading pest management company headquartered in South Elgin, Ill. that specializes in the food service, food supply chain of custody, health care, hospitality, property management and retail industries. Jennifer has over 20 years of HR experience in diverse industries in an ever changing regulatory and recruiting environment. She has held increasingly responsible roles with organizations including a Fortune 50 and Berkshire Hathaway-owned company. Additionally, she has led initiatives for international operations in Canada, the UK, Germany and Mexico.

Jennifer is responsible for strategic human resources planning and management. She supports organizational objectives including talent management, recruitment and staffing. Jennifer also oversees performance management, compensation, employee benefit programs, engagement programs, safety and workers’ compensation and is responsible for ensuring employment policy, procedures and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining McCloud Services, Jennifer served as director of human resources for Anderson Pest Solutions. Her previous positions include HR management roles at The Pampered Chef, Promac, Caterpillar and Rexam.

She received a bachelor’s degree in management from National-Louis University and an associate’s degree in psychology from Waubonsee Community College. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through HRCI (HR Certification Institute) and a Senior Certified Professional (SCP) through SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).

Jennifer spoke at the 2015 Pest World national conference on centralizing recruiting and the implementation of an applicant tracking and on-boarding system. She is passionate about attracting and retaining talent in the industry and is looking to further align with the National Pest Management Association’s Professional Women in Pest Management Association.

Her local involvement includes supporting many charitable initiatives ranging from volunteering at local food banks, to river clean-up efforts, breast cancer walks, support of Urban Prep Academy career days, United Way, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Make-A-Wish and a number of other worthy causes.

On a personal level, in 2011 Jennifer established and continues to fund a scholarship at a junior college in her local community to assist students in affording an education.

BBoothByron Booth, Director, Information Technology

Byron Booth is the information technology director for McCloud Services, a leading pest management company headquartered in South Elgin, Ill. that specializes in the food supply chain of custody, health care, hospitality, property management and retail industries. He joined the company in 1988.

Byron is responsible for all technology hardware and software, including handheld devices used in the field for data collection and reporting. He also supports internal and external clients on the use of software and web-based applications. Byron has been instrumental in McCloud’s focus on collecting data electronically in order to provide clients with web-based tools to manage and report data. He works closely with other partners in the Copesan network to improve and advance the company’s technology-based solutions.

In his previous roles with the company, Byron worked as a customer service/dispatch representative and later directed the customer service department, while working with software developers to optimize and customize database applications. In 2002, Byron joined the home office team in his current role as information technology director.

Byron attended Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph, Mo. After college, Byron worked in customer service, helping implement computer systems at several businesses in Kansas City, Mo., prior to joining McCloud Services.

To keep up with the latest technology advances, Byron continues this education through Microsoft, Cisco and other vendor seminars and training programs.

ADalyAngie Daly, Customer Service Manager

Angie Daly is customer service manager for McCloud Services, a leading pest management company headquartered in South Elgin, Ill. that specializes in the food supply chain of custody, health care, hospitality, property management and retail industries. She joined the company in 2004.

Angie is responsible for serving as a liaison between customers and McCloud’s servicing departments, making sure the lines of communication remain open. Angie utilizes her customer service skills to effectively coordinate service activities for optimum resolution of customer issues. She is dedicated to delivering a level of excellence in customer service and satisfaction unparalleled in the business world.

Prior to joining McCloud Services, Angie worked as a paralegal at Louis P. Milot, Attorney at Law in Peoria, Ill. In this position, she provided legal research with Lexis & West Law, prepared legal documents, drafted pleadings and motions and obtained affidavits.

Angie has an associate’s degree in applied science from Illinois Central College, and is ServSafe certified.

Angie has received numerous professional awards for her work, including the Copesan 2009 and 2011 Championship of the Year Administration Nominee and the McCloud Services 2010 Award for Exceptional Performance in Integrity Coaching.

Brandon Murphy is the director of business development for McCloud Services, a leading pest management company headquartered in South Elgin, Ill. that specializes in the in the food supply chain of custody, health care, hospitality, property management and retail industries. He joined McCloud in 2009.

Brandon is responsible for implementing company sales strategy and market penetration programs. His responsibilities include managing business development representatives, assembling and guiding account teams, and aligning sales activities and enterprise-wide strategies. Brandon is accountable for consistency and integrity of the McCloud program at all levels within the organization. This includes pricing, service delivery, program protocols, and any other unifying elements. He collaborates with operations to establish guidelines and measurements to ensure continuous quality improvement and Interfaces with the COO and V.P. Operations to assure maximum support of sales efforts. Brandon also represents McCloud Services within the Copesan network as a member of the Copesan Sales Committee.

In his former role as a business development representative, Brandon generated a career sales record of over $870,000 in new business. He was awarded Business Development Representative of the Year in 2011 and 2012.

Brandon began his sales career with Aerotek Staffing in 2007 as a commercial recruiter and was promoted to account manager in 2008. In this role, he was responsible for sales and business development in Chicago’s northwest suburbs, as well as managing a team of recruiters.

Brandon graduated in 2007 from Eastern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Prior to transferring to Eastern Illinois, Brandon attended the University of Illinois. Brandon was a two-year letter winner on the baseball team at Eastern Illinois and the University of Illinois. He was also a member of the 2005 Big Ten Championship team.

Brandon is certified by the National Pest Management Association in Food Plant Safety, Quality Pro and Green Pro. He holds a ServSafe certification, Copesan Signature Care Certification, and completed the Purdue integrated pest management correspondence course in 2010. He also serves as a member of the McCloud Technology Innovation committee and is a graduate of the Integrity Coaching training course.

Brandon was the recipient of the 2016 Walter Award, which showcases employee contributions in the areas of character, innovation teamwork, core values and leadership.

JJonesJeff Jones, Fumigation Manager

Jeff Jones is the fumigation manager for McCloud Services, a leading pest management company headquartered in South Elgin, Ill. that specializes in the food service, food supply chain of custody, health care, hospitality, property management and retail industries. He joined the company in 2007 and has 23 years of industry experience.

Jeff is responsible for the management of all fumigation efforts including developing quotes, procuring supplies, performing compliance audits and field training. He also provides account management services for a number of key corporate food industry clients.

Prior to joining McCloud Services, Jeff worked as a territory manager for the Industrial Fumigant Company in Chicago Ridge, Ill. In this position, Jeff managed all areas of the business within his four-state territory. His responsibilities included generation of new sales and revenue growth, fumigation leadership and P&L responsibility. Jeff also served as a general manager for the ServiceMaster Corporation in northern Illinois, where he managed one of the largest Terminix service centers including administrative, sales and service coordination. While working at Terminix, Jeff was named to the Terminix National Pace Setters Committee serving as a captain for industry and company change.

Jeff attended Illinois State University and Wayne State University.

He is certified by the National Pest Management Association in Food Plant Safety, Quality Pro and Green Pro. Jeff has also completed the ServSafe certification, Copesan Signature Care Certification and OSHA 10 Hour General Certification. Jeff also maintains certifications as a pest control operator in Illinois, Indiana and Iowa and holds a commercial drivers’ license with a hazardous materials endorsement.

Patricia Hottel is a technical director at McCloud Services, a leading pest management company headquartered in South Elgin, Ill. that specializes in the food supply chain of custody, health care, hospitality, property management and retail industries.

Patricia has been employed by McCloud Services for 35 years as their technical director and has close to 40 years of pest management experience. In addition to her work in the mid- western United States, she has worked for pest management firms in New York, Florida and Bermuda.

Patricia has a bachelor’s degree in entomology from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in educational technology from the University of Central Missouri.

She is a board certified entomologist and a member of the National Pest Management Association’s Commercial and Fumigation Committees. She is also a former member of the board of directors of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and the Illinois Pest Control Association (IPCA). She has served on the board of directors for the professional pest management fraternity, Pi Chi Omega. Pat is a past chair and current member of the Copesan Technical Committee. She is a past chair of NPMA’s exam review board, and the NPMA Technical Committee. Currently she serves on NPMA’s Commercial Committee and is a member of the Copesan Technical Committee, She is a certified pest control operator in Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas, Kentucky and Iowa. Patricia also holds certification from the National Pest Management Association in Food Plant Safety, Green Pro, and Quality Pro as well as ServSafe, Copesan Signature Care and OSHA 30 hour advanced certification.

Patricia has received numerous awards including Professional Woman of the Year in 1993 and Chairperson of the year for her work on NPMA’s Insect Control Committee. Her articles have appeared in several trade journals and has made professional presentations at various industry meetings including the NPMA Convention, Purdue Pest Management Conference and the National IPM Symposium. She has authored several chapters in PCT’s Guide to Commercial Pest Management including two chapters on food processing plants and one chapter on specialized commercial facilities which includes sections on clean rooms, animal research facilities and zoos.

Anna Berry is the training manager at McCloud Services, a leading pest management company headquartered in South Elgin, Ill. that specializes in the food supply chain of custody, health care, hospitality, property management and retail industries. She joined the company in 2011.

Anna is responsible for process improvement and training and is a resource and advisor to the food safety, technical, and quality teams.

Prior to joining McCloud Services, Anna worked as a proposal manager for CMW and Associates Corporation. In this position, she wrote and managed proposals to RFQs and RFPs. As a contractor for EcoSure, she audited restaurants in the Springfield, Ill area for food safety issues. Anna also served as the entomologist and research coordinator for ISCA Technologies in Riverside, California. Her responsibilities included coordinating mating disruption and pheromone-based studies throughout the United States in support of product registration. Prior to that position she served as the laboratory coordinator for two grain and stored product research laboratories at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. She oversaw and managed all insect control projects including heat treatment, mating disruption, infrared, and low-risk insecticides.

Anna has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Oregon. She also has a master’s degree in grain science from Kansas State University.

She is a board certified entomologist, ServSafe certified and instructor and proctor for the National Restaurant Association and is certified in HACCP. Anna is certified by the National Pest Management Association in Food Plant Safety, QualityPro and GreenPro. She has also completed the OSHA 10 Hour General Certification and Purdue integrated pest management correspondence course.

Anna is a member of the Entomological Society of America.

Brad Bailey District ManagerBrad Bailey, Regional Manager

Brad Bailey is a regional manager for McCloud Services, a leading pest management company headquartered in South Elgin, Ill. that specializes in the food service, food supply chain of custody, health care, hospitality, property management and retail industries.

Brad oversees McCloud’s southern region. His responsibilities include maintaining strong customer relationships, managing the center’s service team, facilitating the service center’s growth and improving customer satisfaction. Brad is also responsible for the financial performance of the service centers and oversees field operations including service delivery, sales, quality assurance and customer account management. 

Prior to joining McCloud Services, Brad worked as a Regional Vice-President for the Connor Group. He has also served as Regional Manager for Sonic Drive-In and owned at several restaurants in the Madison, WI area. Before his restaurant endeavors, he served as Market Development Manager for Diageo Guinness USA and Anheuser Busch. Brad also proudly served in the US Navy with the Naval Special Warfare Command from 1993 to 2000.

Brad has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from National University, San Diego.

Brad is certified in ServSafe and has completed the OSHA 10 Hour General Certification.

Brad has received numerous awards for his work, including Business Impact Award (Diageo) and Turnaround Franchise of the Year (Sonic).

Brad is an assistant coach for the Clayton Warriors Varsity Lacrosse Club and serves on the Board of Directors for the Navy SEALS Fund.

Ben oversees McCloud’s Chicago north and South Elgin service centers. He is also responsible for the financial performance of the service centers, and oversees field operations including service delivery, sales, quality assurance and customer account management. 

Ben joined the company as a service specialist in 2011. He was then promoted to service manager in 2013, area manager in 2015 and district manager in 2018.

Ben is an associate certified entomologist (ACE) and certified by the National Pest Management Association in Food Plant Safety, QualityPro and GreenPro. He has also completed the OSHA 10 Hour General Certification, Copesan Signature Care Certification and ServSafe certification. Ben is a certified pest control operator in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.

In his free time, Ben has been involved in his local community’s synagogue life and is a member of the Habonim Dror Camp Tavor fundraising committee.
